    A French Start up specialised in energy self-sufficient connected objects has developed a technical solution to be integrated in public waste collectors, cans and bottles containers, textile collectors, bins…
    The sensor-based technology calculates the containers filling rate and sends data directly to waste management authorities. The information is provided via a custom services cloud server with a web access and alerts can be sent by SMS. Then, they can inform the waste trucks about the necessity to empty a dump. Thanks to this technology, waste collectors do not waste time in opening empty dumps. One version of the technology has an option to inform as well about the geo-localization of the dumps which need to be emptied.
    The sensor can also calculate the containers humidity rate which can be very useful for textile collectors for example. When the humidity rate grows above a given threshold, the sensor sends a signal to the textiles management authority.
    Thanks to photovoltaic technologies, the sensor is power self-sufficient, it does not need to be recharged or replaced.
    The smart bins technology makes waste management authorities able to optimize waste collection time and costs.

    The SME is looking for partners to collaborate under commercial agreement with technical assistance or under license agreement. The partners could be dustbin, containers manufacturers able to integrate the solution in their production process. The partners could also be public authorities interested in the product.
